I don't know what kind of bird it is, but he was looking good and fearless so I took a picture. The birds here are quite the phenomenon... and dangerous, either for your sanity or for other things...

They are called Cockatoos and really the bird that you should fear here is the magpie (black and white, beady eyes, and will swoop you). And emus as well but that’s a part of history
